Value Based education and Group Discussion

The school gives due stress to inculcate moral values among its students as it has a significant relevance in the present scenario. Two of the basic moral values on which due stress is given are respect and responsibility. Value education is conducted as a part of the class activities in the classroom period. Students are given topics based on values like honesty, fairness, tolerance, prudence, compassion, co-operation, helpfulness, self-discipline, courage etc. to discuss and they will be observed and evaluated according to adoption and reflection of these values in behavior.

Taking part in group discussion is compulsory for each and every students of senior class. It is new concept which finds place in the school time table to develop fluency and accuracy in spoken English with updated awareness of current topics.

Assessment and Project work

Assessment of the students will be conducted in pre assigned subjects every month.  Marks of the assessment and project work would be added to the final report of every student. However two of lowest marks will be excluded from the average.

Examination Pattern

The examination pattern is based on the revolutionary concept of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE).  The core of this concept is that the ability of a child cannot be determined merely by a three hour exam. Instead it emphasizes on continuous and comprehensive evaluation of a child throughout a year. The evaluation is based not only on academics but also other aspect of personality development and behavior of a child. This pattern helps greatly in reducing the examination stress and in a holistic development of a child.
